I’ve been searching for an attractive water proof fanny pack for beach vacations that I can wear while touring but also take into the water. I was excited when I saw this bag as it’s attractive but also waterproof. The big design flaw I noticed immediately is that the zipper, closes at the bottom of the bag making it awkward to access items and then re-close if just using as a “dry land” fanny pack, especially because the zipper is extremely stiff. There are pouches and elastic holders inside the bag to secure your stuff, but if anything is loose in the bag there is a high chance of it falling out if zipper isn’t completely closed. For future designs, I’d recommend that the zipper closed on the side so the bottom of the bag is secured even if the zipper is a bit open for dry use and also it would be easier to see and access the zipper to ensure it’s completely closed when taking the bag into the water. I’ll try it out on my next vacation but am unsure how functional it will be. (Had to pick a size but not relevant)

Pros: definitely waterproof, things inside will be dry if closed correctly! A great idea for swimming or even some hikes! You can clip a water bottle onto the belt if you have a caribiner or loop. The zipper is super hard to open so unlikely to come undone accidentally or have a thief open without you noticing. Nice compartments etc for organizing stuff. Stylish look. Roomy, easy to fit a smartphone. I used mine for carrying power banks and charging cords while traveling if I wasn't taking it on an adventure.

Cons: the buckle comes undone a bit easily so when I had it attached to another bag it came off by accident. The belt is a bit slippery so if you have much weight in the bag it can gradually get looser. I may see if I can change out the belt and buckle to be more like my running hip belts instead. It's not easy to open this bag (which is sometimes a pro) so I wouldn't find it practical as my only belt bag (wouldn't use it unless I needed the waterproof feature).

(There was only one size but the review template asked for a size so I randomly chose one. The size was ok for me as a small adult.)

For some background: this review was written after wearing the bag for 4 days straight camping by the ocean with two littles!

What I kept in my bag during that time is evidence of its great capacity: phone (Pixel Pro), two sets of keys, lip balm, Pixel buds, hand sanitizer, bandaids, and credit/ ID cards.

I love the concept of this bag. Such a Londre move to recognize a need and find a way to make it iconic- just look at their inspo board for this bag (think Bond Girl). I love how I was able to go for an impromptu dip in the ocean with my daughter without worrying about the contents of my bag! Can't wait to bring it on my next tropical beach vacation or floating down the river!

The Orea is also much more light weight than I was anticipating and I love how slim the profile of the bag and the buckle is. I also really appreciate clip inside for keys so you really don't have to worry about them sliding out!

Now for the modifications that would make this bag five star perfect:

1) The card slots should be oriented in the same direction as the zip so that you can open the bag a crack and slide your hand in to pull a card out. Currently, you have to open the bag all the way up (which is not a one-handed feat even with the great looped zipper pull given the tough waterproof zipper) to grab a card

2) Make it size inclusive or offer a complimentary bag extension so that the more busty/curvy babes can rock it. I had it maxed out to wear it cross body and I'm 5'7, 38F, usually an XL…
